# 멱등성 (Idempotence)

수학이나 컴퓨터 분야에서는 멱등성/멱등법칙(idempotence)을 얼마나 많이 실행하든 항상 같은 결과가 나오는 작업(operation)이라 설명한다.
매개변수가 동일하다면, 멱등성 작업은 호출하는 응용 프로그램에 영향을 주지 않는다.
